I listen to Sean Stephenson podcast regularly. His tips are mostly doable but there are a few that I will struggle with. You MUST want to sleep well more than you want to do the things that will not promote good sleep. It's always about discipline.

A Good Health Resource!

"Sleep Smarter..." by Shawn Stevenson is an excellent treatise on virtually all aspects of sleep and the overall positive impact on our bodies. Sleep helps to re-balance hormones, reduce internal inflammation, repair the body, reduce belly fat, strengthen bones, manage pain, encourage positivity. regenerate emotions and improve the immune system.

Sleep is best accomplished between the hours of 10PM and 2AM with "pitch black darkness" highly recommended. Shawn discusses the benefits of sunlight too. Optimally, we need a half hour of sunlight per day. If the sun isn't shining, a good substitute is vitamin D3 supplementation. Early morning sun is optimal between the hours of 6-8AM. Sleep aids in wellness, psychological health and clearer decision-making.

Shawn discusses how to optimize gut health which aids in managing many disease processes. There are optimal nutrients for better sleep like selenium, vitamins (c,k d), omega 3 fats and probiotics. Vitamin combos like D3 and K2 help with the optimal distribution of calcium throughout the body rather than experiencing excess calcifications of bone or dangerous nano-particles in the blood vessels.

Overall, "Sleep Smarter..." by Shawn Stevenson is a very helpful resource to promote better health and wellness.
