Loved it and very accurate

First and foremost, some of these reviews were great but many erroneous - that said, please read the book for yourself; each person will pull something useful that is very specific to his/her own individual mental and physical make up. The book was spot on and not only that, I enjoyed reading it! I have NEVER read a diet book from cover to cover in one sitting until now! (Actually two sittings, I fell asleep reading it last night and finished the rest this evening after work, but only because I was exhausted, not because it was boring!). First of all, the book is based on scientific fact and put in a way the average reader can understand without committing Hari Kari due to all of the big words. Plus I ENJOYED READING IT! WHO can put into practice a method that they couldn't even stomach reading about? That said, I cheated and checked it out at the library, but now I must buy it to have it in my permanent library!!! PS - you don't walk 30 minutes before every meal like some one suggested prior; there are three levels and you MOVE (not necessarily walk) on the level you feel comfortable, then you WAIT at whatever level of time you feel comfortable and LAST you eat... Why? You gotta buy it and find out! Please know I am not recruited or working for this guy; don't even remember his name but what I can tell you - I am in my first week and noticed a huge difference in just this one day... and I ENJOYED READING THE BOOK (did I say that already???). Anyway, buy the book - trust me, if you are interested in losing weight AND being healthy... this is a good start and is life changing if you allow it to be. Good Luck!

Another Hyped lose weight book

Listen its a piece of junk...eat portions, run, a measuring cup is how I lost 60lbs after my brain surgery in 2005 ( read my book Schwanoma My Brain Tumor on Amazon kindle and paper back edition). I was a runner 14 miles 3x's a week, biker, and rollerblading for years until I was diagnosed with and brain tumor. I was very slender fit 150bs 5'11, after surgery I blew up to 215lbs. And I was told by the medical team no running, biking, rollerblading for one whole year. I was devastated. I said 'now how am I going to lose this weight...' and I did. I just set out on a course of reading all the food labels on the products I purchased. I got a measuring cup...and measured all my food intake as per the product I was eating and lost 10 lbs in the first 30 days...that was 2005 after nine hours of brain surgery and weight gain. Now its 8 years later I am still in my 160's lbs...and I still use a measuring cup. This book I purchased was just to see about any new ideas, and BLAH BLAH BLAH, nothing new under the sun. Its sits on the lower bottom book shelf, or 'weight' maybe I did give it away. Anyhow Portions, running, cut down the sugar, fried foods,,,portions portions portions and please purchase a measuring cup afterwards you'll know what I mean!!! Some people just make things so complicated, and by the way chuck the Nuke (microwave) and purchase a steamer! not a plastic one either, a metal one. It heats faster and its a healthier choice!!!
