Loved the storyline and how it sets up one of Mr. Becker's other books in the Woods series. This one has it all. Action, pirates, treasure, betrayal, and more. Nick and his crew, who are trying to go straight, are on the run with treasure, lose it, recover it, ditch it, and stumble onto more. I'll have to go back and read the series from the first novel on. Pick up this book. I promise you will enjoy it.

Interesting Backstory for the Woods Series

I am a fan of Becker and have read all of the Woods Series. Not really a fan of the historical novels, but I read this as backstory of one of the Woods books. Good action, well developed characters, good story line. Enjoy.
BTW I received a copy of the book to proof read, but subsequently purchased the book to encourage the author to continue creating his great stories.
