Out of this world (no pun intended)

I received a copy from the author, Siobhan Davis, in exchange for an honest review.

Saven Disclosure is the second book in the Saven series and picks up right where Saven Deception ended. Logan is off trying to quell the masses on Earth by his father's side, always the dutiful son and heir, while Sadie is left in New York trying to lead a somewhat normal life even though she's constantly accosted by humans the moment she steps out of her apartment door and missing her Eterno like no other.

With Logan away and Haydn breathing down her neck (as per Logan's request), Sadie is desperate to help the rebels despite their blurred morals and agenda. All she wants is to save the people she loves from Sector 20 and the horrific acts that are taking place there.

As if things couldn't get worse, Sadie gets kidnapped and taken to an alien planet and events, friendships, and lives slowly start to unravel.

Saven Disclosure will keep you on the edge of your seat long after you've flipped to the last page. Siobhan Davis did a good job writing the first book in the series, but she blew the stereotypical second book syndrome out of the water. Saven Disclosure brings many more questions than answers, that will hopefully *fingers crossed* be answered in the next book.

An Exciting and Gripping Scify-Fantasy!

Set in the Sovereign Northern States of America "Saven Disclosure" the second book in the imaginative and innovative "Saven" series opens as Amaretti spaceships crowd Earth's airspace threatening an attack, and a secret compound has been revealed where the lower class ("stars") are being experimented on.

While Logan is travelling with his father to build a cordial relationship with humanity and negotiate a treaty with the Amaretti, Sadie and Jarod have infiltrated the government and are working with the Resistance to save those, including her brother and sister detained in Sector Twenty. With the Vice President, the leader of the Resistance and the Saven King Adjani all conspiring it seems no one can be trusted and everyone has a secret agenda. Sadie has to determine whether to follow her heart, or her conscience and try to save her siblings and other test subjects in Sector Twenty.

Siobhan Davis ratchets up the tension, power and apprehension in this gripping sequel as Sadie is placed on a hit list not only facing attacks by Logan's adoring fans and alien haters but assassins as well as being kidnapped. The action never stops as the plot heats up after she and Jarod go undercover only to be caught and threatened by the Vice President as well as a deal struck after they break her sister out of Sector twenty.

Well-structured and spell-binding as Siobhan Davis weaves alien treachery into a science fiction-fantasy filled with corruption, greed, conspiracy and betrayal, the romance between Logan and Sadie faces a time of testing as they're not only separated for months but their love is undermined by lies and secrets that could rip them apart. And if that isn't enough, a twist in the plot has Sadie confronted by an unexpected and unrequited love that could destroy a friendship while Logan has to deal with a union that will sabotage their Eterno connection. As the couple grapple with the assaults on their bond, romance blossoms between Ella and Jarod only to be ripped apart when she's abducted. As the electricity and excitement escalates the plot never slows until a zinger of a cliff-hanger at the end that opens the door to the novella " Saven Denial".

In this story you begin to realize the extent of Sadie's abusive relationship at home and the reason for her wariness and insecurity in her friendships and love life. She's stubborn, strong-willed and impulsive but her loyalty and commitment to her friends and Logan never wavers even though it's often tested. Diplomatic and compassionate Logan is adored by the public and duty-bound to his people making him emotionally conflicted. Even honorable Haydn Rox the royal bodyguard who's unwavering in his duty and loyalty is floundering, questioning his choices in life. I loved the way Siobhan Davis seems to juxtapose the inner turmoil of her characters against the discord being waged on Earth.

As well as familiar characters there are new faces like the clever and astute Amaretti Princess, Dalitza; her intense and suspicious bodyguard Win; the trusting and good-natured Ella Owens; and the vicious and heartless ruler of the Tor, Griselda. All these personalities and many more infuse this page-turner with passion, high-energy and drama which is bound to captivate any reader.

I loved "Saven Disclosure" with a cliff-hanger that pulled me into reading "Saven Denial". I rate it highly and can't wait to see where Siobhan Davis will take her fans next in this thrilling scify-fantasy.

She did it again!!!

I was given an ARC of this book for my honest review.

This book was better than the 1st and that is a rarity with 2nd books. I am a fan of this series. It has romance, sci-fi, action, suspense, and dystopian in spades.

Sadie finds herself in all kinds of trouble from start to finish, but she handles her self very well. Logan seriously worked my nerves the 1st half of the book but I'm sure its because I was going through the motions with Sadie. This book is not boring in the least. In fact I had a hard time trying to find a place to stop to sleep and work. There is so much going on but it is easy to keep up with. There are betrayals, rescues, threats and more threats, imminent danger, aliens, alien planets, spaceships, and oh Sadie goes ninja on some aliens a few times! You go girl! There's plenty of Jarod, Hayden, and Vin....actually the whole gang is in full swing. And they all have drama. Hayden, my Hayden...I just want to hug him :(.

Ok, Siobhan! That ending........what??? If not for the fact we only have to wait a month instead of a year I would have been screaming my head off at that ending. At the very least my mouth dropped open like a cartoon character......my TMJ thanks you for that! Please be kind and don't make me hate the ones I love. You know what I mean:}
