Very nice book, hardcover, larger and thinner than expected but that is not an issue. I pictured it would be like the small board "Goodnight Moon" books. Size didn't matter so I hadn't paid attention if that's in the description. The colors are rich, the paper nice quality. Our friend's 3-4 year old loves trains and enjoyed this book.

Fun Christmas version

I had to get this one for our Christmas collection because our almost 4 year old loves the first two so much. This is a fun edition to round out our collection! It has the same characters as the original Goodnight Train. They catch glimpses of Santa before coming upon exhausted reindeer on the track and giving Santa a ride home after he makes his rounds.
