Features & Highlights

  • Millions of people travel the countryside in RVs, and that trend shows no signs of slowing down. RVing leaves a smaller carbon footprint than traditional fly/hotel/drive vacations; plus, it’s a lot more comfortable and convenient. Prospective RV buyers agree that RVing allows for more family togetherness, a less-expensive vacation, and a great way to avoid the illnesses travelers pick up in hotels and on cruise ships. If you’ve already got your RV, or if you’ll be renting a rig for the trip, this book will show you how to choose the perfect trip for you or your family, and how to get there smoothly and easily.

Enjoyed this one, How about a RV Vacations 2 book.

GREAT Book! Really happy with this RV vacation guide. I've listened to the authors podcasts and decided to try this book, glad I did.
They've covered the destinations in a concise informative format. Pictures, maps, places to see if your itineraries last a week or three.
Favorite picks for Restaurants, Attractions, campgrounds and suggestions on what time of year to go. Hope you offer a second book
with emphasis with more west coast destinations.

It's a great vacation location guide

I bought the book thinking it was the "how to" of RV travel. It's a great vacation location guide, but I wanted the little secrets of RVing since I have never done yet. Wanted to know about packing, traveling, table/chair vs. dinette, how things don't fall over in pantry, WiFi availability, picking the right RV for me, etc. Will look for that type of book too. I will use this travel book later when I learn all the basics.

I think that considering the number of locations covered this is a great guide. Used on my recent trip to Mount Rushmore and the advice about getting there early for photos was spot on. Also took their advice about Custer State Park, which was the highlight of the trip. Will have this on my Kindle for my next trip...

Great book!

Recommended by Janine Pettit, Girl Camper, to read this book. It's wonderful. Gives great advice, and having been to ( or lived near and visited) many of the locations in the book, it is spot on. Next year planning on visiting more of the locations in the book, and their advice is going to be extremely useful. If you listen to their podcasts via RVFTA , you know that Jeremy and Stephanie are camping gurus. You won't be disappointed with this book.

Guide for idiots is correct

This guide is apparently written to sell their book, but not mention is made on whether the RV parks have electricity, water or sewage. Pretty important factor in a book about RV trips
