A self help book you want to read

Only on Chapter 2 as of now, but this book speaks to my depressive soul. I hope this book really does teach me things my incredible therapist hasn’t.
I like how he incorporates research with life stories and metaphors. Nothing of this writing is bombarding and very easy to read... especially for readers who easily lose concentration.. ironic eh? I think there was a lot of thought put into this book.

Total marketing bull

I purchased this book after seeing it mentioned on the Dr. Phil show. I began reading I and signed up for the rhythmic music download referenced in the book found at mindbodyseries.com. Ever since that day, my mailbox had been filled with the uber marketing crap you would expect with one of those Nigerian email scams. Today I received an email about a man named Nicholas Steele and his remarkable recovery from an accident that left him a quadriplegic. So. Decided to search the web for his story since such a miraculous recovery should be well documented on the web. Guess what?! Not one article or mention about him that's not associated with the marketing machine that is Dr Frank Lawlis. After receiving all the marketing crap and this mornings investigation into the clais, I'm afraid I can't recommend anything by either Dr. Lawlis or Dr. Phil!

My Son recommended this!

My husband suffered a mild stroke in February 2013 and the anxiety attacks he has experienced are painful for him and the people who care about him. He has had therapy but all the MD wanted to do was give him anti depressants. He wants to beat this chemical free and this book and prayer has helped him immensely . Now at least he feels he has some tools to work through this process. Thank you Dr. Lawlis we have your ADHD books for our grandson and they remain in our home for a great reference.

A great book for everyone

I found it a very interesting book, with a lot of good information. It hits on how to get along with people in your life.
Whatyou can do to make yourself a better and happier person. How to understand the things that go thru your head and help minimize them so that you can relax. A wonderful book to read over a number of times and highlight the things that pertain to you. I would recommend it to everyone, as there is something there for all,.

Put Panic Attacks Behind You!

I saw Dr. Lawlis on the Dr. Phil Show a few weeks ago. What I saw him do, in just four hours, with a lady who panicked going over bridges was so remarkable I ordered his book for myself and each of my adult sons on the spot! Everyone carries issues from childhood through our adult lives and sometimes they act as triggers for negative behavior. Dr. Lawis is brilliant at helping us get beyond that negativity and into a peaceful environment.
I highly recommend this book to anyone; we ALL have stress of some kind.
Blessings on you, Dr. Lawlis!

Very practical

Dr Lawlis goes into some detailed explanations of why is it we live in anxiety, where that mind-set came from and encourages the reader that it can be reversed.

The exercises are practical and not only provide long term healing but on the spot correction in times of crisis. I also purchased his anti anxiety series of mp3 s and started using them because I am determined not to continue living this way. I have not completed the course yet but I am very hopeful because I now fully understand the reasons behind my actions and that it is I who have to make the change.
