Description

From the Inside Flap S. Horrigan, AMAZON VINE TOP 500 REVIEWER , wrote: "Read it! You won't regret it! Another cracking story from Lexi. Don't be put off by the seemingly science fiction based plot. The real story is the way that the two Beths deal with situations that they find themselves in and of their discovery of their real self. As with Lexi's first book, presentation on the Kindle is about as good as it gets. Overall : This deserves nothing less than 5 stars! An original, very well told intelligent story that had me turning the pages right to the end."

Features & Highlights

  • When Beth's eccentric boss
  • at the government research lab asks her to try out his latest duplicating machine, she'd be crazy to do any such thing. She's not cleared for this, insured or authorized; it's late Friday evening and she wants to go home. But Beth is fatally unassertive. She agrees, and unknown to her another Beth is created. The replica overhears MI5 chief, Sir Peter Ellis, discussing her future - or rather, lack of it. Terrified, she goes on the run. Penniless, friendless and homeless, she has to find the inner strength and aggression to survive on icy London streets. Spec op Nick Cavanagh likes to win. Though Beth thinks he's outside her apartment to protect her, in fact he's hunting her double. As the replica proves difficult to catch and the stakes get higher, he has to decide whose side he is on. S. Horrigan,

Most Enjoyable Read

I found Replica to be a most enjoyable read. My favorite parts were when the replica was trying to find ways to survive, with very engaging descriptions of her surroundings, difficulties, and reaction to it all. And the ending was simply perfect.

Great read!

I loved this book, thought it was even better than Remix, which is also worth reading! Definitely a page turner with a fascinating plot. Replica would make an engrossing movie! Much thanks to Amazon for enabling me to discover this author. Looking forward to Lexi's next novel!

Really enjoyed this adventure

Of the many books I have read in my life, this will be my first review. Ms. Revellian has a great gift weaving a story. All the twist and turns that make up this tale, seems very plausible. As another reviewer noted, the author did a brilliant job of separating the two protagonist.I especially found it interesting that when one was enjoying, lets say, fish and chips the other was finding the same meal horrible. And then when you think that every thing will be coming full circle, the real tragedy happens, and a new dilemma. This is an author that I will follow. I did read her first book "Remix" and would recommend that story, but for some reason, this is the one that sold me.I would like to add this message for Ms Revellian, I cried when I read the last sentence.
