I'm not the best student when it comes to knowledge from a textbook, but I made an 85 on the registry. This book had more in depth info. than I thought it would. I thought it would only skim over all basic topics. I used this book primarily to study with, and school textbooks when I needed a really in depth review. Good practice test in back, with the answers, and why that answer was correct, and why the other choices were not correct.

Good, but information is repetitive

I used this to study for my radiology registry. It is nice, but I found that a lot of information is stated repeatedly (I’m talking whole paragraphs). I would recommend this - I scored over 90 on the registry - but I also used Mosby’s exam review and I would 10/10 recommend Mosby.

This book is definitely great for review in passing the registry. I wish important definitions and keywords were bold and italicized or in a bigger font instead of just italicized with the entire passage using the same font. The index could definitely use smaller keywords such as “moire effect, 15% rule, etc”.
