Exciting conclusion, and hype build

Picking up from last volume's epic ending, this volume wraps up all the loose ends. The arc ended with a bang, and created lots of hype for the next one. The last portion (Chapter 700) does an especially good job of setting the stage for what looks to be an amazing upcoming arc.

You should still be enjoying the series by this point

I would say that you'll probably definitely enjoy your time reading One Piece at this point in the story than you ever have. As before, I'll take a no spoilers policy with this series. All I can say is that my bro really enjoys the manga.

One Piece is my favorite manga/anime of all

One Piece is my favorite manga/anime of all. It's always had a great balance of comedy & action... and it can also bring tears to your eyes in occasions.
The story & the characters have grown as the story has progressed.
Plus, the little covers for the chapters many times give you insight into what other characters have been up to in the mean time, and that has always been great!
