Don't miss this one! Off The Grid by Alex Kava... Good read!

Off The Grid by Alex Kava is a collection of novels. Actually, portions there-of. Ms. Kava has a gift for writing mystery novels that hold your interest throughout. This collection of short stories continues with Maggie and Tully, FBI agents. You could read this on one evening! I recommend this novel for all ages. DP. Castro Valley, CA.

4-1/2 Stars

I’m a huge fan of Alex Kava’s Maggie O’Dell series and also Ryder Creed. Maggie is an interesting character — smart, intuitive, determined, fearless — but she also has flaws that she’s working through while chasing serial killers. Off the Grid includes some short stories and novellas that fill in some gaps between novels and brings back some of the characters previously introduced. The front material in Off the Grid gives the reading order for how these short stories and novellas fit into the novels. I subtracted 1/2 star because there seems to be quite a few typos or missing words in the text. This is not the author’s fault, but the result of poor editing on the part of the publisher. I wish they’d fix these problems and issue an updated, revised version.
