NKJV, Wiersbe Study Bible, Genuine Leather, Brown, Red Letter, Comfort Print: Be Transformed by the Power of God’s Word

The Weirsbe Study Bible draws on Weirsbe's many years of Bible teaching to provide a reference resource that would be benefit to any Bible teacher. This Bible in particular is well made and has many features to commend it in addition to the study helps contained throughout the Bible. 

One of my favorite features about this Bible is the number of ribbon markers. Most study Bibles if they come with a ribbon markers come with one marker. This immense Bible comes with three ribbons.

In addition to this the binding is clearly of superior quality, which is absolutely necessary for a Bible of this size. You can definitely tell that this is not a cheap Bible that will come apart quickly.

Before opening the Bible I was concerned about readability, whether the publisher would be able to combine readability with all the resources this Bible contains. I was greatly satisfied with the font size found in this Bible both in regards to the Bible text and the study notes.
If you're looking for a new study Bible for yourself or someone else this is definitely a quality study Bible to consider getting.

This Wiersbe Study Bible (NKJV, Genuine Leather, Red Letter) is handsomely bound and easy to read. I've been looking for a good NKJV, and this one is very good. Each book starts with an outline of what's in the book, followed by a brief overview and a paragraph or two of the book's general themes (titled "Be Transformed"). Commentary on and explanation of the verses appear at the bottom of the page, and sometimes take up over 1/3 of the page! Each page also as cross-references (between the verses and the commentary on the page), which allows for quick reference to deeper study.

Sections of each book (the outline) are easily identified because the headers are (a) blue ink, (b) bold, and (c) all caps. It's a nice, easy way to track. They're also in a smooth sans-serif font, giving it a modern look. This Bible also has a few assorted charts and "sidebar" sections with expanded explanations, plus a hearty condordance that takes up 12% of the pages in this volume! The back of the book has a good collection of maps, plus an "Index of Preaching Outlines" for each book. This would be helpful for (a) a pastor, or (b) someone preparing a series of lessons.

Five stars, for sure. Like I said, this is a handsome edition that I really like, and I think I found my new "go to" study Bible.

This is such an amazing Bible! There are so many wonderful things about it and I love how it has taken my Bible reading and study to a whole new level!

I have the leather cover and it's so gorgeous and feels so very nice. It's a soft brown color and with the gold edged pages, it's so striking!

Inside is where it gets even better. Warren Wiersbe is one of my favorite Bible teachers and knowing the care and thought he puts into each and every study note assures me that I'm learning the Bible properly. He makes his study notes easy to understand yet brings such depth to my understanding of Scripture.

I really love the large "Comfort Print" as I don't have issues reading the Bible or having my eyes tire. Each and every word is the perfect size and is so easy to read. I enjoyed the book overviews before each book of the Bible as it gave me an understanding of what I'm going to read and insight before I even start. There's a wonderful and extensive concordance in the back that has every possible thing you would need to look up. Plus full color maps to get a visual of where the stories are taking place.

This Bible has every thing I've ever wanted. Study notes by a trustworthy author, easy to read print, extensive information, and more! I absolutely love this Bible and am using it with such joy. I highly recommend this Bible for the reader and/or serious Bible student. It's truly a treasure.
