I read this book almost twice as fast as the other ones. It exceeded my expectations. I almost had trouble stoping reading it. I wanted fantastic, it gve me fantastic. I wanted a thriler, it gave me a thriller. I wanted suspense it gave me twice as I expected. I couldn't wait to see the next (sadly last) one in the saga. After the end, I was surprised how much time it took me: 1 hour and 30 minutes! However, this is the first one I recommend to read last, or it would spoil the first three. Definitely worth the time.

Another amazing entry in the series. Although I didnt like it quite as much as the 3rd novel it is amazing in its own right and introduces an amazing new character. Has more of a horror feel to it than the other novels in this entry,almost reads like a Stephen King novel.

Necropolis is WAY WAY WAY WAY Good

Necropolis is my favorite story in the Gatekeepers series. When I first opened Raven's Gate, I was expected a Harry Potter-esque chosen-one kind of adventure fantasy. I didn't expect the story to get as dark as it does. Parts of this book are almost hard to get through, because the stakes are so high and the characters are so desperate. I really white-knuckled through this one. Plus, the horror imagery (especially in Hong Kong) will stick in my mind for a LONG time.
