Exceptional Tool for Educating and Captivating Little Minds

This book is divided into the following chapters: grassland, ocean, desert, forest, and polar. Inside each chapter, multiple animals native to each habitat are covered. Each animal is given about four pages with large photographs of the animal in action, utilizing the impressive photography National Geographic is known for. There is a highly educational sidebar at the beginning of each animal's section that lists all kinds of neat facts about each animal such as what kind of animal it is, its home, size, diet, sounds it makes, and how many babies it has.

My son is three. He has learned a lot from this book and never tires of hearing about the animals. He enjoys hearing about half a dozen animals at a time. He sits by himself quite a bit just flipping through the pages, checking out the pictures. The language used is simple enough that he has no problem understanding what is being said. I can see how a broad age range of children would benefit from having such a book in their home library. We are looking forward to using this book for years to come.
