This fantastic paranormal read had me glued to the page, as I was entranced and hypnotised by this compelling tale!!

I am so impressed by Tim O'Rourke whose novel `Moonlight' surpassed and exceeded all positive expectations, as it totally blew me away by its originality within this genre. The striking, eye-catching cover is amazing and which I feel is one of the best book covers I have seen! I was anticipating a slightly rudimentary story about a Werewolf hence I was delighted by the fresh, unique and distinctive style with such an incredible plot as to astonish and amaze. Fans of Twilight will absolutely love this book, which is a spectacular debut promising much to come within this trilogy that I cannot wait to devour. The characters are so inspired and singular that they pull the story along, and I was mesmerised by winter's journey from the filth and squalor of London's murky streets to the remote South West English countryside, where Thaddeus resides. Full of electric tension and suspense, twists & turns this was a most enjoyable and addictive read that I cannot enthuse about enough.

As Winter McCall takes a housekeeping job in a house owned by the mysterious, aloof and secretive Thaddeus Blake who is as handsome as he is mystifying she does not heed those warnings that have been frequented several times with her curiosity and inquisitiveness getting the better of her. Within a great mansion that looms like a back shadow, not all is as it seems for winter soon comes to realize that there lies beneath the surface a terrible and great secret. Whilst blind to the danger that she is in winter becomes attracted to Thaddeus and soon with nowhere to run to and no one to turn to, she succumbs to his peculiar and strange requests; including for her to stand underneath the moonlight every night. As the intensity and tension rises it is not long before the truth is revealed that ultimately leads to one of the most exciting, spine-chilling and utterly fantastic climatic & dramatic endings.

This outstanding read has to be one of the most electrifying, stirring and gripping reads that I have read this year, which is character-driven within the most unexpected plot that sends your pulse racing. It felt as if my heart was beating out of my chest as I experienced the breathtaking drama as I lost myself within the pages. I cannot wait to read the next instalment within the moon trilogy, together with adding more of this accomplished and brilliant author's work to my bookshelves. If I could give Moonlight higher than a five star review I would for the reason that it sent Goosebumps down my arm, for it was such an exciting read; totally exceptional and innovative.

*I would like to take this opportunity to thank the author for sending me a copy of his book to read. I am most indebted and cannot praise his writing enough. Also, his attention-grabbing poster of the cover never fails to send a chill down my spine & a smile to my face as I pluck Moonlight off the shelf to re-read*
