So Glad for these reviews!!!

i really love my historical books, i recently read the first 4 of the McKettricks series and LOVED THEM!!! Now that i know the rest of them are set in the present day, i will not bother. i might buy the 5th one since it goes in between present and past but then i am done. the history of the wild west in itself is a main character for me, the main aspect i crave when reading these books!!! i would have loved to see what happened to the baby girls of this family and how their fathers and uncles reacted to their plights!!!

Jesse's Girl

Everyone who loves to read western romance recognizes the name of Linda Lael Miller and her McKettrick series. In McKettrick's Luck, Linda presents the story of Jesse McKettrick and Cheyenne Bridges. There were a few times when I thought the pace of the story could have been picked up a bit but overall I really enjoyed reading the book. I liked the side stories of Cheyenne's mother and her wheelchair-bound brother. The love scenes between Jesse and Cheyenne were sizzling. The ending was satisfactory. I look foward to reading the other two books in this series.

As an author of romance, and with one contemporary western romance released with plans on writing more, I dream about achieving the type of success that Linda Lael Miller has achieved with her western romances. She is an inspiration to me.
