Maximum Ride Box Set (Maximum Ride, School's Out Forever, Saving the World)

I really like this for a fun series for kids and grown ups alike. The kids will love it and the grown ups just might get the message. Even for this this ole lady it was a fun ride.

The first three novels of this high-octane, action-adventure series had me turning pages. Max is a tough as nails protagonist with a plight that will keep readers on the edge of their seats.

I am not a teen I am in my early 20's but have always been a lover of teen books as well as a James Patterson fan. I have never been so disappointed. This book is not even for 13 year olds its for 5 year olds. There are ridiculous holes in the story, no explanations for anything and ridiculous dialogue. There were times it was interesting and times I laughed at Max's comebacks but all in all if you are not wearing diapers I doubt you will get anything out of this series. Sorry Mr Patterson. Fail.

Ordered these for my preteen son. He was very interested in the series and they added towards his accelerated reading goal in school. As usual James Patterson does not disappoint. He loved the books and read them in record time.

I am a grandmother of 13. I like to read books before the kids do so I know what they are reading. Please tell me why is is more important to save the world from so called global warming than to search out and destroy evil scientists who torture,clone and mutate children, then keep them locked in dog crates. What ever happened to the sanctity of human life being our top priority. Shame on James Patterson for choosing to place children and human life second ( if at all) in the appalling actions of what is being done to the earth. I have read 5 of the Max series books. I don't want my grandchildren to be sucked into this sick twisted view!!!

I loved this box set and highly recommend that you buy it. When I finished the three books I went ahead and bought the other books from the series...highly enjoyable reading.

I read this series years ago (as an adult). The premise is fascinating, and as credible as the Harry Potter series comes to be once you start reading it. I recently bought the 1st three volumes for my 10 year old granddaughter, and when I stopped by the other day, saw a drawing of Maximum Ride on their fridge❤️ I think she likes them!

My 13-year-old granddaughter is a voracious reader. After reading the story line and the reviews, I knew she would like this series. She read these first three books in a week. I have since purchased four more books of the series, which leaves two to go.

My 12 year old son LOVES the series...is reading them slowly as he doesn't want it to end...

I picked this set up not knowing what it was about, and I'm glad I did. I have read all six books in the series, and I can't wait for the seventh one Angel to come out. I love the character Max. This series remindes me almost of a super hero comic book type. There is always action and adventure. It is about six kids trying to survive everyone trying to hunt them down, and trying to remain a normal family at the same time. Each kid has something diffrent about them. Enough said don't want to spoil it.
