I received this beautiful book and I am so thankful to the the ...

I received this beautiful book in order to get closer to God more and my faith. I am so thankful to the the Poor Clares of Perpetual Adoration. I have to admit I had only browsed through it when I received it in the mail and then had placed it along with my other Catholic books and thought...well I will look at it more later. Later came sooner than I thought. The very next day, I was guilty of sin. I was not able to get to confession yet, so I had gone to my prayer table (my little altar) to tell God I was so very sorry. The guilt from my sin filled me with shame and sorrow, knowing how much I had hurt God and my soul. I said an act of contrition and looking down I noticed my St Padre Pio prayer card. I read the prayer I had wrote on the back of it. It is a beautiful prayer asking for his intercession and asking him to accept me as his spiritual child. Then I saw the little book of Adoration and picked it up, to my surprise I had opened it up on Psalm 51, a prayer of repentance. (Later on that day the same prayer came up) God had heard my cry of sorrow and I know St Padre Pio had prayed for me. This little book is a treasure of pure love from our beautiful Lord. He who picks us up when we fall...as many of us do, and fills us with His Love, His Mercy and Forgiveness. Blessed be His name! Thank you Lord for loving me. Have mercy on us and of the whole world.

Great beginning.

Even though I am a cradle Catholic, I didn't really learn about Eucharistic Adoration until a couple of years ago. This book only helped answer more questions and explains things and gives someone who isn't familiar with Adoration a great beginning. I'm going this to our RCIA teacher and get word out about this to my Church.

I thought there would be more content and information about perpetual adoration, but most of the informative content is stuff that can be found during a quick search of "Eucharistic Adoration" on Google. The rest of the book functions more or less as a prayer book, which is not bad in and of itself, but not exactly what I was looking for, especially for the price.
