Don't waste your money

This book showed premise, however the storyline was too convoluted to follow, there were aspects of the story that weren't explained, and the ending was just plain awful.

Different strokes for different folks

In light of TV series such as Dexter and Hannibal, one must admit that there is an unsatiated fascination in our culture with serial killers and what makes them tick. Mania, by Tim Kizer, steps into this thriller/killer genre with an interesting vision of a killer named Richard whose dead wife (yes, he may have had a hand in that alleged death) seems to have come back.

Kizer leads his readers on a journey (on which the body count is high) as Richard seeks to clear his name by removing what stands in his way. Readers should be prepared to find themselves simultaneously at odds with and unintentionally rooting for the deeply troubled man. There is occasional strong language, but if one is in the market for a story about a serial killer, this is unlikely to be a deal breaker.

If you are a fan of shows such as Dexter or Hannibal, or have always been interested in Jack the Ripper and his ilk, Mania just might be the book for you.

Surprisingly a very good story.

I have read numerous books of all genres. Suspense/Thriller are not usually what I read, but I was bored and needed something to read. I saw this for $.99 since and I said what the heck. Man, am I glad that I did. This was a very good book, from start to finish. You never knew what Richard (the main character) was going to do next. Was he being framed? Was it just his imagination running wild? I guess you will have to read to find out like I did!!! Highly recommended.
