Great series. Hubby is reading them in order no order them several at a time for birthdays, etc so he has enough to read between occasions.

You Can't Go Wrong

Connelly's a master. In more than two dozen novels, he never disappoints, and Harry Bosch is one of the great literary characters of the genre.

The Best One I

This is my favorite of all the Harry Bosch novels. It exhibits great character development, which continues into the subsequent books of the series. If you are just starting Michael Connelly's writing, I recommend you begin with this book, then go back to the first of the series and read Bosch in order. This one will whet your appetite!

Well worth reading

I love the Detective Bosch series. Again, Michael Connelly is an amazing writer with a very thorough knowledge of police procedures. I did enjoy this and the other nine Connelly books I have read in the last year, but for some reason it bothered me that this one was written in the first person. It took me at least 1/3 of the book to adjust to it. The book is another terrific story with awesome twists and turns; it was just getting used to the first person narrative that threw me off a bit.
