I loved the colors on the cover

I loved the colors on the cover, but the pages inside were a different color scheme that I didn't really like as much. I wasn't wowed by the graphics or the opposites comparisons. I still like the book though...

Wouldn't have purchased on my own

We received this in our Amazon Book box subscription and I wouldn't have purchased this book on its own. It's very simple but I feel like it's a little confusing for my kids since they don't hear any of the British phrases in daily life so they don't realize it's comparing the two items.

Meh

I don't love this book and my son (almost two) isn't crazy about it either. Maybe when he gets older. I do appreciate that it attempts to teach the concept of opposites.

Delightful

I love this enchanting board book and the whole book series. The charming images are simple, bright and bold which are perfect to capture my newborns gaze. This book may be a little simple for an older baby but it's a perfect distraction for my needs.

Too minimalist for me.

Thought the photos were severely lacking color and "fun factor" for kids. Boring book not suitable for small children.

The Perfect Book for Future Anglophiles

What a cute book! I am a self-professed anglo-phile so I knew i had to have this book for my daughter. When it arrived, it was actually even cuter in person. I love all of the different opposites that they use and the illustrations are so fun. I think I love reading it more than she does :-)

This book will definitely have me purchasing other Hello, World books in the future.

Not the best in the series

I bought the entire series and donated this one. I haven’t found any books that do a good job of opposites yet.

Three Stars

Illustrations are nice but the writing is just okay.

Love the concept and illustrations

Love the concept and illustrations. Wish it would have been a few pages longer; there are only 7 sets of opposites, and "sunny" is used twice, though not in exactly the same way ("sunny/rainy" and "sunny day/starry night"). I like beefy kids books!
