Little Women: The Original Classic Novel Featuring Photos from the Film!

Little Women is a perfect story but this edition arrived extremely dirty and whatever is all over the book got all over my hands. I’ve had books arrive somewhat damaged and maybe a little dusty but never this dirty.Kind of gross.

I like this novel a lot, but I love the photos added to it from the new film. Gorgeous settings and costumes on display. It’s now the new classic film of this treasured novel. It was wonderful to read the novel now as an adult. It has so much more meaning and depth. A good reminder what women didn’t have in the 1800’s - how far we’ve come and how far we have to go. Enjoy it and the film at the holidays! Thank you Greta Gerwig for bringing Louisa May Alcott back to our attention!

I am disappointed bc I rushed to order the book thinking it would look like the one at the end of the movie. Which was a bright red velvet cover with bold gilded letters. Its not, and I know it's my fault for not reading and making sure.
Just beware if you are ordering it for this same reason. The book cover is a matte red and a dull gold. It looks brighter in the picture I submitted bc I took the picture under a bright light.

This review is not about the novel itself. The overal quality of the book is not really bad, but it is not what you would expect from the picture of the item. I would say, it looks cheap. Also, it says that there are pictures of the movie scenes. There are. But all in black and white in not so good quality. I would prefer illustrations rather than this cheap looking black and white pictures. I should have ordered Puffins. A pity and shame aginst Little Women. I gave two stars, just because you will have no problem reading texts, and if this is just what you want, go ahead (although in that case I would prefer Kindle version).

beautiful book, and I love all the cast pictures, I’m huge Timothée Chalamet & Saorise Ronan fan so those were nice to see. like some other reviews stated, the book isn’t as deep red with beautiful bright crisp gold lettering (like shown in the movie) but it is still a gorgeous book. although if you’re looking for a book that looks more like the ones in the movies, then I recommend looking at other sellers/checking out some in person book stores :) other than that an amazing product! would recommend to fans of any Little Women movies or if their old novel needs an upgrade.

I saw the movie over the holidays (it was fantastic) and wanted to get the book since I hadn’t read Little Women since I was a child. This book is even better than i remembered and it has so many lessons and is still incredibly relevant for today’s society. The pictures from the movie give it an added personality and I love that they decided to make the book cover look exactly like Jo’s copy in the movie. This is one of the most beloved books in my collection now and will be a quality keepsake for generations to come.

It is a gift for my niece. We recently watched the movie together and we loved the movie. This could be a book she cherishes for years. It’s a old fashioned looking hardcover book with some nice photos from the latest film. Exactly what I expected and I wasn’t expensive either.
