One of the most convoluted stupid storylines in comicbook history.

I'm a major DC fan. I have read some extraordinary comic book/graphic novel stories. And some real duds.
But THIS one is definitely one of the most convoluted stupid story lines in comic book history. Maybe as individual comics it made more sense, but I doubt it. As a collected graphic novel, it's just ... ick. So many loopholes. Too complex for kids, too ridiculous for adults. Ever since they started down the path with the broken "source-wall" story arc, I could smell the ridiculousness coming. This was worse than one of those DC-Marvel crossovers.

Let me get this straight without spoiling too much ... sixth dimensional beings want to either take over or save the multitude of multiverses (now called the omniverse, because we're running out of prefixes) ... and they need the help of the puny 3D Justice League ... who they could snap out of existence in a blink? And it just goes down hill from there, and actually boring all the way. what happened to Mister Mxyzptlk? And Bat-mite? Agh! More questions than answers ... and when it's all done, who cares?

The artwork was nice.

man this is definitely turning things up a notch for what is coming. The justice league basically have to move up dimension wise to gave a threat on that lvl. But not oh boy is not what it seems. I would rather have yall read this yourselves. But I will say you will get one of the best superman punches in existence.

One of the Best JL Vol's (if you can understand it)

Scott Snyder continues his forging of the DC Universe through the Dark Knight and into the Hall of Justice, assembling a creative dream team and pitting the Worlds Finest heroes back against their only true worthy adversaries, the Legion of Doom.

In this volume we explore the ‘dimensional’ aspects of the DCU. The six dimensions are described as follows:
1st Dimension - a Point in time/space
2nd Dimension - a Line to/from that point
3rd Dimension - a Material plane of existence
4th Dimension - a plane mastered by Time
5th Dimension - a place of limitless Imagination (home to omnipotent imps Mister Mxyzptlk and Bat-Mite)
6th Dimension - the Control Center of the Multiverse

As has been said before, the Multiverse was devised as a way of creating an infinite number of story possibilities, and the Sixth Dimension has provided that to the Nth (Metal) degree. This is the most powerful group of individuals in the cosmos, their purpose is to protect the Earth(s) no matter what the stakes, and in the Sixth Dimension the stakes are incalculable due to the corrosion of the Source Wall.

If you have the heart of an adventurer and want to continue down this rabbit hole blown open by Snyder in “Dark Nights: Metal”, you'll be helpless to love this story. Even when the situations get especially zany (carnivorous Metropolis) the characters are still treated with a high level of dignity while enduring unimaginable hardships all leading us to witness a conclusion that ultimately embodies their legends of decades past. I don’t have enough praise for the art of Jorge Jimenez, every one of his Superman drawings could be on a poster and the vibrance of the colors fully illuminate his world. As the volume cools off the creative team swaps out to Tynion IV (#26) who closes the story out promising impending Doom.
