Cute but Hey Duck is still our favorite

My 21 month old son loves Hey Duck so I figured he’d love this one too but he unfortunately doesn’t - not yet anyways! He recognizes the characters but the story doesn’t seem to flow as well as Hey Duck so he’s not into when I read it to him. It could be just my son’s preference though! He might grow into in the future but for now it’ll sit in our library until that time comes.

Great illustrations

Toddler loves the pictures and I appreciate the rhyming but it’s a little wordy for such a young audience

Underwhelming follow on to Hey Duck

Our toddlers favorite book is Hey Duck. So we bought this for her. It is a very underwhelming follow up to it. Way more wordy and trying to hard. Almost like the author was persuaded into making it, but didn't have the same creativity or passion while writing it.

CUTE STORY

I first purchased "Hey, Duck" for my granddaughters ages 3 and 5. They loved the book so much that I purchased this book also. The duck and cat series is humorous and a very cute story. It's simple to read and my 5 year old granddaughter was recognizing some of the words. Very pleased with my purchase.

Super Cute Sequel

My son loves "Hey, Duck", so when we saw there was a sequel we had to have it! He loves this book just as much! Next purchase will be Sleepover Duck!
