Excellent book and fictional account of Joseph

I really enjoyed this book a lot, his writing made it seem like it could have happened that way. I just have to note, the author spent a lot of time in the beginning of the going over the relationship the brothers had with Joseph. Yet, at the end of the book it ends almost abruptly with Joseph married and we see no real closure with his family. Other than that flaw, the book is really satisfying.

Enjoyable read on an ancient classic

I've always enjoyed the Biblical story of Joseph. I liked this story and the developing relationship between Joseph and Asenath. There was plenty of authentic historical detail to set the scene without giving the feeling of a history/archaeology text book.
