o.k.

Ok, but prefer other books. Just not as enjoyable as others. More like a textbook.

An insightful aid to the study of the New Testament

This book is well-written and thoughtful, while still being understandable to an ordinary person. The incredible photos are art from throughout history depicting New Testament stories or themes. I read 5 chapters before I put it down. One of its best features is that it is not biased on issues that are viewed differently by different denominations. A great deal of information is imparted through special boxes with charts or lists that are as helpful as the narrative.7
