Love!

Love the combination of both books in one. If you haven't, you need to start from the beginning and read this series. It's the best mystery/thriller series I've read in a long time. Her words and writing keep you hooked and wanting more!

Very Good Book

Great book if you like the series, its not for everyone. However if you know what this series is about definitely check out the whole series. This is a great paperback version that has a good size and the words aren't too small. I would recommend reading the books that come before this one before getting into it however because the story will be hard to follow unless you do so.

Great way to flow through this series

I love the two in one design. I already know that I love this series, and this far into it i'm gonna read all the books. Why wouldn't I buy both books in one binding. It was a no-brainer and great way to avoid even the shortest interuption from this great author. My only complaint is the size of the book. Realistically, this is hardly a negative considering the length of each book. I expected it to be thick, and the perks are worth it. Besides, I looked pretty brainy reading that huge sucker in public. hahaha

mehh....

i thought flowers in the attic was decent, and petals in the wind to be painfully boring with some so-so parts every now and then. i decided i might as well finish the series and started off with if theur be thorns, the first of the series not narrated by cathy but her two sons Bart and Jory. apparently V.C. Andrews thinks all children are retarded because bar talks just as carrie and cory did in the first one. and its annoying as hell. but i looked past it, and overall it was a very unexciting book. the ending has what we've all been waiting for but not how we wanted it. and i couldn't even finish seeds of yesterday. thats how boring it was.

I love VC Andrews, Have for years.

I love VC Andrews, have for years. She is a great writer, I have enjoyed several of her books.
When my daughter, was a teenager, ( 16 ) I let her start reading some of the books, and now she is also hooked.
We both buy her stories and then, exchange with each other, Most books end up in the resale pile, but we both agree our
VC Andrew collection, stays between the two of us.

Amazing Gothic Family Thriller

I come from a family of readers, and I took numerous literature classes in boarding school and college, yet I have never come across the name V.C. Andrews. Amazon recommended Flowers in the Attic for me, and I was immediately drawn to the series. These continuation novels may even be better than the first two. The characters are compelling, the plot line keeps you on the edge of your seat, and I guarantee you will probably spend a whole weekend plowing through the 700+ pages. One of the things I love most about these books is that you can't decide who is good and who is bad - you think you are rooting for the "good" person and then an event occurs and your mind is totally changed. I am so happy that I discovered V.C. Andrews, and very glad that Amazon accurately recommended these books for me.
