I, am disappointed

Michael Bennett and his brood and colleagues are very engaging. I like them even when the story line is hard to believe. Patterson's other protagonists are like that too; that's just part of his formula.

Anticipation may have been why I found "I, Michael Bennett" disappointing in the end. Well, it wasn't the end, of course, because the Bennett series is a series, after all. The problem for me was that there was no ending either.

And Mr P, the dance between MC and Michael has to move along or end. It's way past the cute stage.

I Michael Bennett

I told myself a long time ago to stop reading books by Patterson. This was a total set up to get me to buy another book from him. No ending at all. I could not believe how it (did not) end. I know the readers do not matter to Patterson, but he should remember that we are why he is so rich. I really feel cheated on this one.
