Hero of a Highland Wolf (Highland Wolf, 4)

If you happen to be a fan of brawny men in kilts, then this is the book for you. Grant MacQuarrie and his clan have cared for Farraige Castle for decades, now they are to meet it's new owner Colleen Playfair. They have made plans that are sure to scare the poor lass and have her scurrying back to the States with her tail between her legs.

Colleen knows she just has to spend a year in Scotland to fulfil the requirements of her father's will. Her alpha personality should help her overcome any challenges that arise.

I enjoyed this book from the first pages. As soon as author Terry Spear described the shirtless highlanders clad in their clan kilts, I was hooked. Stir in some romance, clan rivalry and wolfish romps and it's a winning combination. Did I mention that the clans are all shifters? That does add some interesting twists to the story, but for me, it really does come back to those kilted highlanders.

I love Terry's books. I have read everything that she has written to date and have really enjoyed every one of them. I really enjoy the continuing stories of the Heart of the Wolf series

Loved reading this book. I liked both the main characters and them trying not to be attracted to each other. It's a paranormal romantic read. putting this in my top ten reads!

I had this book read by the first day I got it. I love highlanders, wolves, romance, and a little light entertainment.

This was a horrible storyline. Your daddy was a bad person so you must be bad too so I ( a grown ass man leader of my clan) will use juvenile tricks to make you (my employer / owner of the castle my clan is dependent upon) feel unwelcomed, lose your inheritance, and leave so your male cousins will inherit the property instead. The subplot was even worst. My grandfather was the manager of the property until your grandfather discovered that my grandfather was stealing from the owner and told the owner. The owner fired my grandfather and hired your grandfather to manager the property. In retaliation, my grandfather killed your grandfather's wife because without his love (wife) he and would be unable to function and end up being fired. Since he was still able to manage the property, your grandfather was killed by grandfather. Yada yada yada UGH. Terry Spear continues to add sex scenes but all her men are minutemen with the same kiss, suckle, plunge, her first then him formula. All that male power just wasted in her books. As wolves they live longer lives than humans yet her characters no matter their age reek of immaturity. I am truly done with this hit and miss series. I definitely don't recommend this book.

This is another winner for Terry Spear. Grant and Collen's story is sexy and full of laughter with a little suspense thrown in. I love the Highland werewolf's and it was like coming home to old friends. If you've read the previous ones you won't be disappointed. I love her shifter romances, so enjoy
