Her works include Vampirella, Painkiller Jane , as well as creator owned projects such as Gatecrasher (with co-creators Jimmy Palmiotti and Mark Waid) and The Pro (with co-creators Jimmy Palmiotti and Garth Ennis). Her work for DC Comics includes CODENAME KNOCKOUT, BIRDS OF PREY, TERRA, a well-regarded run on POWER GIRL and BEFORE WATCHMEN: SILK SPECTRE. Amanda, along with her artist/writer/husband Jimmy Palmiotti, and writer Justin Gray currently work together via PaperFilms, a multimedia entertainment studio engaged in screenwriting, art production and development.xa0Jimmy Palmiotti is a multi-award-winning writer and comic artist and the co-founder of Event Comics, Black Bull Media, Marvel Knights, and most recently PaperFilms, where he currently partners with Amanda Conner and Justin Gray. Together they have created and co-created: xa0MONOLITH, 21 DOWN, THE RESISTANCE, and THE TWILIGHT EXPERIMENT for DC Comics as well as The New West, The Pro, Gatecrasher, Beautiful Killer, Ash, Forager Trigger Girl 6, Random Acts of Violence, Queen Crab, Trailblazer, Ballerina , and the soon to be feature film Painkiller Jane .
