Description

I was impressed with Autumn Veatch before I had the opportunity to interview her, and even more so after. It was important to me to protect Autumn's interest in her story, and for that reason, I have put the copyright in her name.80% of all profits go directly to Autumn. Author Tara Ellis lives in a small, rural town in Washington State, set in the beautiful Pacific Northwest. She enjoys the quiet lifestyle with her husband, two teenage kids and several dogs. Tara was a firefighter/EMT, and worked in the medical field for many years, before committing herself to writing young adult and middle grade novels full-time. (she still dabbles in teaching CPR)

Short but powerful

Well-written, true account of a plane crash survivor. Vivid descriptions of the rough terrain and the young teen's emotions during the ordeal left me breathless at times. Well done! This is a short but powerful story.

Survival but boring

This book is small and short. Getting out alive is a bit dramatic for her experience. No hypothermia, no need for food or water or defense against scary animals. She basically walked until she came to a road and flagged down a car. Hardly suspenseful. Many other survival stories out there. I recommend you stick with them.
