Heartbreaking yet beautiful story!

This is the story of Steph and Nick. I've wanted to read their stories from the moment I was introduced to their characters and I'm glad they ended up being together. This book jumped right on in and was chock full of romance, heartache, sexiness, and a bit of drama. This one didn't have much suspense like the last couple, but that's ok. I still really enjoyed it. Jen truly did a great job pulling ALL the feels from me during this read.

This book turned out to be an extremely hard book for me to read. Not because it was poorly written or because it wasn't a good book, because it was a phenomenal book. It's just the topic of it that I had a problem with. It's because what I went through last year, I ended up reading in this book and it invoked all those same feelings, emotions, and memories from what had happened to me. I ended up ugly snot crying and it wasn't pretty.

Steph is a very strong, independent woman who goes after what she wants and doesn't regret anything. She's smart, sexy, witty, but inside she's a bit of a softy and just wants to be accepted by others.

Nick is sexy, sweet, a bit of an a-hole at times (at least in the beginning), caring, responsible, and honest guy. I loved watching him grow as a person and see him change throughout the book.

So even though this story broke my heart by re-opening wounds that haven't fully closed (and probably never will), this book was wonderful. Well done Jen!

I LOVE JLA for creating a character like this.

I wasn't planning on doing a review this week but I just need to say this real quick.

I am SICK of slut-shaming in books. And I've seen so much of that lately in stories that Forever with you made me have hope in romance stories again.
If you've followed the Wait for you series since book 1, then you're familiarized with the female lead in this book. And you'll know that this was most probably not your favorite character when you first met her.

Steph was someone who could've SO EASILY fallen into the chategory of "oh, that plastic bitch that's trying to get the hot guy away from the good girl"... a steriotype I'm not fond of and that's extremely overused.
But she didn't.
She started to prove herself to be different in book two and now she has her own book... finding her own true love, still being friends with the "hot guys she NEVER tried to get away from the good girl"...letting us inside her head and becoming one of my favorite characters in the world.

I LOVE Jennifer L. Armentrout for doing that. For creating a character like Steph.

Besides that, this is a very emotional realistic story that you'll definetely not regret reading. It broke my heart in a million pieces and then brought it back together. If you love NA contemporary romances... you MUST read it.

3.5/5 stars

To be honest, I think this is my least favorite book of the series so far. Not because I didn’t like the writing or such. But because I couldn’t connect to the characters as much.

I am not like Stephanie. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t judge her. I feel like every person makes their own choices. And that’s fine. She enjoys hook-ups, but has never found a person she wants a relationship with. And as long as there are no illusions on either side, that’s great for her. It’s just that I am not like that. So it’s much harder for me to connect to her, than it was to Roxy. The same goes for Nick. I don’t actually know a guy like him. So it’s a bit harder to imagine I guess?

What I liked most about this book is that this situation seems a lot more relatable. I mean, not many people go through what Roxy went through. But many women/couples do go through this situation. And it’s good to see it represented in a book.

Overall, I did enjoy their story. And I’m glad to have read it. Like I said, I would recommend this series to you if you like new adult.

A heartwarming story you can look forward to!!!

In Forever With You, we have a unique story that I wasn’t expecting. So my review is going to be slightly shorter and be a bit different so I don’t give any spoilers away of the ending!! so *crossing my fingers*. In this story we have two people, that are just looking for a one night stand…nothing complicated or involved just reacting on the chemistry they feel for each other. Stephanie has recently moved into town, and started a new job. She isn’t looking for anything serious. But when she steps into Mona’s…her life changes. After sharing a passionate night together, Stephanie wasn’t sure where they stood. She was fine with it being just a one night stand. But then they become friends but some shocking news happens—she finds herself pregnant even though they used protection but their luck wasn’t good for them that night. Stephanie and Nick begin anew with each other, and act on what their hearts tell them.

Now Forever With You was a shocker for me—-an accidental pregnancy…not the normal for a contemporary. I think its been a long long while since I have read one of these set ups. And this author did a fantastic job with it. Now some of you may be a little nervous about the whole accidental baby theme but I really liked it. I did like how it shows that even when you are careful when having sex, mistakes happens and its not 100% guaranteed. And these two go through a shock of their lives. But having this change of circumstances is what brings them closer. And man I loved seeing these two grow together and become excited to be parents all the while slowly falling in love with each other. The only issue I had with this book, was the heroine. Toward the end, she makes mistakes and I had a hard time understanding her reasoning for what she does. However, this story gave me some laughs and evoked some teary eyed sessions. Definitely, a great addition to the series and I can’t wait for Brock’s story later this year!!

Loved it

Predictable, but I still loved it. Jennifer Armentrout always makes me fall in love with the characters.

This book was full of love, laughter, tears, and sex. In case you need to be warned about the sex part. Lol
I really enjoyed the story.

and it was pretty easy for them to become friends with her

Going into this story my expectation of Steph was for her to be intimidating and tough. Reading this book from her POV let me down a little bit. She is perceived as being a person without any cares. She has "friendships" with guys that last a night. She has only a couple girls she really trusts and doesn't let her guard down. In the other books she is described as being stunning and intimidating. Now that I actually read the book, I was a little let down with her story. She doesn't trust others and doesn't want to let her walls down, but lets Roxy and Katie in and even Nick... and it was pretty easy for them to become friends with her.

I thought she would have had a tough life.... kind of like how Avery, Teresa, Calla, or Roxy had things happen to them. I'm not saying that Steph didn't have a traumatizing experience, but it wasn't to what the other girls had to go through.

I really loved the parts with Roxy and Reece, Calla and Jax, Teresa and Jase, and Cam and Avery. It was just... heart melting and totally adorable. I love those couples (and their stories) so much. I'm not as attached to Steph and Nick. I'm glad they get their happily ever after... but I really liked the other characters stories more. I LOVE the ending. It's just so adorable and perfect.

Also, I love Katie! She is totally out there and hilarious. I wish she could have her own story.

Anyways... it was an entertaining read, but if you have read the others in the series this one wasn't as good. It just wasn't my favorite.

Romantic and Touching

"Forever With You" the romantic yet touching fifth novel in the "Wait For You" series vibrates with a steamy romance, heartbreak and pain that begins when Stephanie (Steph) Keith moves to Plymouth Meeting to work at Lima Academy, a martial arts training center. Wanting the enduring love of her parents, but unable to trust that she'll find it, Steph believes in casual sexual one nighters. Similarly enigmatic Nick Blanco the free-wheeling bartender at Mona's is known as a player who avoids any kind of committed relationship.

With passion and realism Jennifer Arrmentrout escalates the emotional intensity of the story when Steph finds outs she's pregnant and after a little finger pointing the couple not only commit to having the baby, but begin building a future. But like all good plots the action builds when tragedy strikes and Nick and Steph have to overcome the obstacles they've built from pasts burdened with heartbreak and relationship issues. As events unfold with steamy sexual encounters and witty banter between the two the plot slowly builds towards a satisfying conclusion.

One of the teasers in this well-written and touching story revolves around an incident at Lima Academy when Steph walks into the supply room to find a creep from her office accosting the owner's daughter. Having already had her own problems with Rick, he's fired and that's the end of it. Because the plot is revolves around Steph's pregnancy and relationship with Nick, the unpleasant scene wasn't relevant unless it's a lead up to another novel.

Many of the characters in this story are familiar like the feisty and scrappy Roxy; cocky and wise Katie; and patient and observant Reece. In Calla's story Nick remained in the background as a sexy, mysterious bartender only to have his secrets revealed after he meets Steph. Nick Blanco for all his smugness, self-confidence and charm hides a tragic past filled with death and a bad relationship. Only after learning of Steph's pregnancy is his kind, caring nature and self-sacrifice revealed. Similarly bold, smart and seemingly shallow Stephanie harbours the pain of loss. She's unsure about her future, looking forward to work and travel until she meets the elusive bartender. When these two connect sparks fly as their chemistry ignites.

Although I found the language raw at times I liked the emotional roller-coaster ride that Jennifer Armentrout stirs in "Forever With You". It's a story that captivates the reader from the first page to the last.

J.L Armentrout you have done it again!

Jesus Jennifer L. Armentrout! I don't think it's possible for you to write a book I don't love! This series just keeps getting better and better, and you had me in tears with this book. Which never happens... It takes a lot to make me cry and Nick and Stephanie made it happen. Out of this entire series I have to say Nick and Stephanie's story is my favorite! Now all I need you to do is write a book about Katy! I love that crazy girl!!

This book picks up right where the last one left off, both Nick and Stephanie have no use for a relationship and both agree a one night stand is what they want. But little did they know that sometimes you can't just get away with a one night stand. There story had me unable to put the book down, and I was up through the night trying to finish it.
