Fodor!

Bought this book for a bucket list trip to New England to see fall foliage. The book is very informative with different places to visit and sightsee, hotels, restaurants & maps. Looking forward to planning some of our trip with this book.

Not very useful

It's mostly just telling you about Sights, Restaurants, and Hotels. It shows leaf peeping routes and has a nice Lighthouse finder for Maine. You could really do better just by spending several minutes on Google Maps, especially when it comes to restaurants and hotels. You could also just do an internet search for "Things to do in X city".

I'm returning this because it simply doesn't offer anything to someone who has an internet connection.

Gives you the basics of what you need or want to know

It was a good travel book for our road trip to Vermont, New Hampshire and Maine. It did not meet my expectations on travel books. I’m used to Lonely Planet and Rough Guide and the info they provide. Those books helped me travel the world. With this book, it gave us the basics for each state. I did further research using the internet to add to the book. Would I purchase this book again? Yes because my preferred brands did not have books for these states (together).
