Description

Susan Jane McLeod has been writing since she was seven years old. At age eleven, she won a countywide essay contest, and her professional career was launched. By the time she was nineteen, her poetry had appeared in several magazines, including American Girl and Seventeen. She also won an honorable mention in The Writer. Susan grew up in Rochester, New York, with her three sisters and one brother. In her early thirties, she was diagnosed with ovarian cancer and given a 50/50 chance to live. She survived only to have the cancer recur, necessitating more surgery and an aggressive course of chemotherapy. Today she is cancer free. The best job she's ever had was managing a bookstore, surrounded by her passion: literature. Susan has published several short stories and two novels. The first, Soul and Shadow, is an award-winning paranormal historical romance. The second, Fire and Shadow, is classified as paranormal suspense. Both have garnered impressive reviews. Susan believes strongly in several causes and has raised money for the American Cancer Society, Foodlink, and the House of Mercy homeless shelter. She still resides in Rochester and will always call it home. Contact her at www.susanjmcleod.com.

Heart Stopping Page Turner

I LOVED Ms. McLeod's first book in this series, Soul and Shadow, so I was VERY excited when Fire and Shadow was released. I checked Amazon every couple of days looking for it, and it was definitely worth my trouble. Soul and Shadow was so captivating, I wondered if the author would be able to recreate that magic. She DID and in a big way. I could NOT put this book down. At one point, I'm sure my heart stopped. I held my breath, I gasped, I hoped for a good outcome for characters. The details are so clear, you can almost see the story play out and these books would make a fantastic addition to Hollywood, as they are fresh and imaginative and would make wonderful movies with the right production company. I love Lily and Cleocatra and all the characters. I will be anxiously awaiting the next Lily Evans Mystery. I know the magic will continue. Well done Ms. McLeod!

Really good Series

I haven’t read the first one in the Lily Evans Mystery Series, but I was given the opportunity to read this one.

I loved it for what it was. It’s a paranormal/psychic book and it follows Lilly Evans, a girl who sees things. Things that others don’t see. She got better with the right medication, but when she met Cal, a psychic everything started to fall into place, make sense and everything just started to happen here.

I loved the main message, that with the help of true friends, and believing in yourself, you can accomplish everything.

This was a really good book. The characters are well developed and the story has a nice flow to it. I will definitely read the first one, and the third.

I wish you all the luck with this Series, Susan.

Another Great Lily Evans Adventure

I was enchanted with Book 1 in this series, and Book 2 did not disappoint. So good! I was so happy Ms. McLeod didn't just follow the formula in the first book. She picks up the story where book 1 left off and send Lily off on another exciting adventure. Don't miss this series by a talented author.
