Very little content, you can do better. Read on.

I have this book and it has very little content and photography, all FLUFF, and not fluffy powder. I'm a lifelong, avid skier and love good ski books. This is not one. It covers a few, and I mean very few, of the world's ski areas. Then, the only text is about 500 words written by a 'local', describing almost nothing of value to a true skier. If you want a really Great book for yourself or as a gift to a skier or snowboarder, you want: "Where to Ski and Snowboard" ii's infinitely better in every respect.

Review of Fifty Places to Ski and Snowboard Before You Die

This is such a great book! It not only offers valuable information and suggestions on places to go skiing but it gives beautiful pictures as well. The only suggestion I have is for it to have a picture of every destination mentioned. On some of the locations it's only text and no pictures. It makes me want to plan a ski trip!
