Felt Christmas Decorations (Twenty to Make)

I WANTED A NEW BOOK FOR CHRISTMAS DECORATIONS THAT I COULD MAKE WITH FELT. AS I BROWSED I CAME ACROSS THIS BOOK AND FELL IN LOVE WITH THE CUTE LITTLE OWL ON THE COVER. AS THE PRICE WAS ANOTHER AMAZON GREAT DEAL I BOUGHT IT.
IT ARRIVED AND I QUICKLY OPENED IT TO SEE WHAT OTHER LITTLE TRASURES WERE OFFERED. WHAT A DISAPPOINTMENT. THE ITEMS WERE SO POORLY HANDSEWN I WAS EMBARRASSED FOR THE WRITER/SEWER.
EXCEPT FOR THE OWL THERE IS REALLY NOT ANYTHING YOU CAN'T GO TO PINTEREST AND FIND A TEMPLATE FOR.
SORRY I CAN ONLY GIVE IT TWO STARS. ONE FOR NICE PICTURES AND EASY TO FOLLOW DIRECTIONS AND THE SECOND IS THOSE DIRECTIONS ARE PERFECT FOR MY 8 YEAR OLD NEICE TO FOLLOW AS I AM TEACHING HER TO SEW.

Cute little book, full of simple projects that can be sewn fairly quickly, some by hand---good T.V. & travel work!Some of the projects have a traditional Swedish look.

The ideas for the Christmas decor felties and items are just so cute but the templates at the end of the book are REALLY small and stingy. I've had better books on this. There are no pictures to go alongside the step by step instructions, but the instructions are very careful. I would also have appreciated if there were templates for the larger projects, even if some of them seem just basic. I don't want to have to measure after already having to enlarge/photocopy the other patterns. Unless the item uses a half or full sheet of the standard felt sheet size, then I'd like to have a lot more than was offered. I make these with kids and templates just make it easier.

What a disappointment. There are three pages of templates and you can’t cut them out because they are two-sided sheets. Meaning, if you cut one side out, you lose the templates on the other side. And, the templates are small, maybe even smaller than actual size. What a waste of money. The owl on the cover is as cute as it gets!

I enjoyed using this book to make Christmas Cottages which I put homemade cookies into. Very easy to use and great instructions.

I bought this book to make a few Christmas ornaments for friends. It's a small book, 20 to make as the title says, but as it's all holiday ideas, that fine. Lots of pictures, and the instructions are clear. They turned out very cute!

There are several projects in here i hope to get to. Cute lil book.
