Description

Gin Stephens is the author of Delay, Don’t Deny: Living an Intermittent Fasting Lifestyle, an Amazon #1 best seller in the weight loss category. Gin has been living the intermittent fasting lifestyle since 2014. This lifestyle shift allowed her to lose over 80 lbs. and launch her intermittent fasting website, four Facebook support groups, four self-published books, and two top-ranked podcasts—Intermittent Fasting Stories and The Intermittent Fasting Podcast. Gin graduated from the Institute of Integrative Nutrition’s Health Coach Training Program (2019). She earned a Doctor of Education degree in Gifted and Talented Education (2009), a Master's degree in Natural Sciences (1997), and a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education (1990). She taught elementary school for 28 years, and has worked with adult learners in a number of settings. She splits her time between Augusta, Georgia and Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, where she lives with her husband and their four cats. Gin is also a mother to two adult sons (and she is thankful every day for the intermittent fasting lifestyle that makes her life easier).

A Wonderful Follow Up!

Gin's easy writing style shines again in her second book. As in her first book, Delay Don't Deny, she has tons of information on why the IF (intermittent fasting) lifestyle may be for you. We are all a "study of one" and what works for person A doesn't necessarily work for person B. She's done extensive research and breaks it down for everybody to understand. I also like that since I have the book version, I can go to a web site she created to access the links she's referenced in the book. Thank you Gin - you have changed my life!

Great second book for new or experienced IF-ers

After you read Delay, Don't Deny by the same author, and/or The Obesity Code by Jason Fung, pick this up! It's a great addition to the health library of anyone trying intermittent fasting as a healthy lifestyle!

Excellent references

Excellent references even if you've read Gin Stephen's previous books. Very good information on our gut biome. Gin does very good research and presents it in an understandable way.

Gin Teaches How To Listen to Your Body...

A follow up to her wildly popular Delay, Don't Deny book, Gin does a great job of taking things to the next level in Feast Without Fear explaining that we are all different and there is not a one size fits all answer for us. She literally teaches you how to feast without fear. She lays out how to listen to your body so that you eat real food that makes you feel good! Love this book - can't wait for more from Gin!

Well worth you time!

I was on the Ketogenic diet when I started IF. This book helped me let go of my "good food"/"bad food" issues and just enjoy. This book is well worth your time and money and is written in classic Gin style with wit and humor.

Great follow up to Delay, Don’t Deny

This is a great follow up to Gin’s first book Delay, Don’t Deny. Yes, IF should help you lose weight (if that’s what you need), but you really want to get back to enjoying food. This book has links to the research about IF but is still conversational so you don’t need to have a master’s degree to understand it.

Great information in an easy format

Another great book by Gin Stephens. Delay, Don't Deny, her first book, started me on Intermittent Fasting. This great companion book explains perfectly how different foods affect different people.
