Anticipation, Steam, and a whole lot of Suspense

The Wedlocked trilogy comes to an end in Fatal Marriage and it is by far the best in the series. I had no idea of all the betrayals, horrifying secrets and thrilling moments present in this book. Charlotte Byrd had me at the edge of my seat as I raced through the pages towards the conclusion. Franklin’s true colors come to light after he and Aurora get married. Any goodness I though he had completely dissolved when his secrets came to light. Aurora is determined to bring Franklin, and all the powerful men involved, down for their horrendous crimes, so she enlists the help of Henry and his friend Jackie. They create a plan to get all the evidence they need to convict Franklin and the other men, but it’s not an easy task when Franklin shows Aurora exactly the type of man he is. Amidst their investigations and misfortunes, Aurora and Henry’s love for each other shine through and you just can’t help but to root for them.

What an outstanding conclusion

Wow..I didn't see this ending coming. I read this last book of the Wedlocked Trilogy with the suspense it instills from the first page almost without a break. This is a page turner because Franklin is who he is.. which sends Henry and Aurora to each other in levels their relationship has been headed toward since Dangerous Engagement. As usual Charlotte Byrd has written another series that is has been worth the anticipation of each new book. This was a smashing conclusion. I wonder what is next on her talented mind.

Family Drama

This was a very quick read. Some abuse both sexual and physical but not a lot and it was not in great detail for those of you who have triggers. But to be honest I would have preferred to have the details because that is what feeds the readers emotions of a story. So It lacking and more of a feel good story. Concentrating more on the two main characters feelings towards one another. The sex scenes were very hot and very detailed for you readers who like that in your books. (Which I do too.) The story line was great as well. Daughter forced into an arranged marriage with a abusing, cheating, and conniving man to save her family. So she inquires the help of her ex-boyfriend who she is still in love with to find dirt on her husband. Great story line but to me it was to predictable and it seemed rushed at times with the other characters. I wanted more. But it was a very good read.
