Mistake

I just finished the first book of this series and I have not read this one yet. The reason for this review is because the mistake on the description on the back of the book. It says Laura is from Kentucky but, in the first book she is from Tennessee. I really liked the first book so I'm hoping after reading the reviews on here that I like this book as well. I will write another review when I'm done.

Faithful to Laura by Kathleen Fuller

Faithful to Laura by Kathleen Fuller is a most enjoyable book about the life of the Amish. When Laura Stutzman leaves her home in Tennessee to travel to Ohio, she has only one thought on her mind and that is to find Mark King and learn why he had treated her in such a way that now all she can think of is revenge. She knows that her Amish faith requires forgiveness but all she feels is a need for revenge. She feels that she cannot go on with her life until she has answers from Mark.
Sawyer Thompson's mom and dad died when he was a young boy but he was rescued from the foster system by an Amish couple who adopted him. He spent his teen years in the Amish culture but his parents allowed him to keep some of his English ways as long as he respected the Amish way of life. Sawyer is now an adult and is facing the decision of whether to become Amish or go back to the English way of life. He is drawn to Laura and tries to help her see that she must forgive rather than seek revenge. He also has issues that will require a great deal of forgiveness on his part. An unknown relative appears on the scene and not only does it cause doubts and fears for Sawyer but it also hinders his relationship with Laura.
Laura and Sawyer are drawn to each other but both have problems that they must overcome and people they must forgive before they will feel free to take their relationship to the highest level which for them would be marriage.
There was nothing about the book that I did not like. There was suspense in many different areas and Mark King added fear to the story while Sawyer added romance. The book made me feel happy for Laura and Sawyer both ended up following God's plan for their lives. The plot was well thought out and the character development and dialogue between the characters were very well done. The descriptions of many scenes were so real that I found myself holding my breath to see what was going to happen. The emphasis in the book on forgiveness was inspiring for I believe that we must always forgive and not seek revenge.
I would recommend this book to anyone who likes Amish fiction with a good message and a good ending.
