Essential Oils Natural Remedies- The A to Z Reference is one of the most in depth books I have ever read on Essential Oils. It lists most Essential Oils out there, what they do and what they help treat. It also lists 170+ symptoms/diseases and what oils treat them. It teaches you how to make a compress and how to diffuse oils. It includes the a list of 15 important things to know about Essential Oils, and even gives a short history of Essential Oils and their benefits. It reviews the 10 most popular Essential Oils brands, which I found to be a huge time saving feature when I started to shop for Oils on my own. It has a glossary so you can search by oil or symptom, making it a great go to reference book. If you are interested in Essential Oils for healing, I recommend you pick up this book. I received my copy in exchange for my honest review, and I am never letting it go.

When this book says it is a A_Z reference book they're not kidding. It's not something you're going to read in one day. It's not a book you will read one time and never pick up again. It is a reference book. I go back to this book over and over. It is full of a vast array of information. This was my very first book on essential oils. Now that I have more books I can understand the information in this book better. Starting on page 434 they reviewed the top 10 essential oil brands. That was very important to me. Most folks will steer you toward one brand. 454 pages in this paperback book it is easy to handle. the book is 8 inches tall by 8 inches wide and 1 1/2 inches thick. The end of each section has color coded pages with a description of what is in that section that makes it easier to find what you're looking for when you're flipping through the book. I highly recommend this book.

Not what I was expecting. It does not have any mix ratios for the different oils.

This is easily one of the best books in my personal library on essential oils and healthy remedies. I like the way the book is laid out. There are recipes for common ailments in which you can refer to the index at the back to look up and find what is needed. The same goes for the section on oils, which covers application methods, what blends well with this oil, precautions to use and the medicinal uses. To be noted, the oils have their own index where you can immediately look up any particular oil to review it's benefits. I've has friends and family call and ask to have me look up items or even borrow my book. After borrowing it, a few decided that it too was a must have in their own personal library.

A must have for reference and knowledge. One of the best books I have found.

This is a great reference book for anyone that uses essential oils on a regular basis. I love that it is to the point, without added "fluff" to make the book longer. The layout is perfect and extremely easy to use. I love that I can look up an ailment and find the recommended oils in a matter of seconds, as well as look.up an oil to find its recommended uses. A very informative and helpful guide.

I highly recommend this book...it should be a part of every essential oil user's library.

I like some of the recipes and suggestions in this book but was disappointed. It had been recommended to me and I thought I could trust that source but this book proved that wrong. While it does teach some great usage ideas and suggestions and benefits of different oils it also has some unsafe use ideas recommended and if you are using it as a primary source of information you could end up hurting yourself or your child or your pet. Please be careful with any essential oil! Always dilute properly and don't ingest it or use it neat on your skin. Research uses in this elsewhere before trying them for yourself.

This isn't quite what I was hoping. If you're looking to look up a symptom and find the oil/blend you need this isn't necessarily your book. It does have a few recipes for some symptoms, just wasn't what I was looking for.

Good and to the point but I need more informative info on the oils. Like the chemical constituents...still have yet to find a book that fulfills my current knowledge of oils more thoroughly...but a good one for folks just starting out.

This is a very helpful book as far as a quick reference book goes. It gives a couple of natural remedy options for a long list of ailments and also has a small description of each essential oil available on the market. Though the information about the individual EOs is interesting, the lists of ailments that it may help with is not particularly useful as each oil has an extensive list of unrelated ailments. Using a particular EO for any given ailment may vary greatly with each person that uses it. For example, so many of the oils report to help with acne, but really I'm not certain all of them have a great enough impact on acne to warrant listing that claim in their list of medicinal uses. But I guess that's where the other part of the book comes in handy. You can look up the ailment that you're experiencing to find out.which EOs are best to use and how to use them. The intro section of the book is also very informative for someone very new to essential oils.

This is a good quick reference book for the specific oils. Doesn't have the recipes for blending I expected.
