Great Recipes, Easy Advice On Going Keto

I'm technically a low-carb person, not a Keto person. However, I use Keto cookbooks and this one is really quite nice. I liked the recipes I tried and found it easy to understand and to follow and I also liked their direct and simple advice on going Keto. I recommend this to anyone looking for a Keto cookbook that focuses on desserts, and have done so, recommending this to a couple of friends. This is a good one.

Simple and enjoyable

I'm not on a full Keto diet program, but I do need to watch my carbs/sugars so a cookbook of Keto desserts is worth a look. I like how simple the author presents the information in the first couple of chapters in "Essential Keto Desserts: 85 Delicious, Low-Carb Recipes to Satisfy Your Sweet Tooth." Author Hilda Solares keeps it succinct and easy to remember. Also appreciate the time taken to explain substitutes for almond flour.

The recipes are also straightforward and with the nutritional breakdown that I'd expect in a cookbook like this one (thumbs up for that). The ingredient lists for the majority of recipes are reasonable. The instructions are easy to follow with variation tips sprinkled throughout. The taste is a bit different but the family seems to like. At least for the recipes we've tried so far (Poppy Seed Pound cake has been the standout so far).

As noted at the beginning, it was worth the look especially if trying to manage carbs. I love my sweets so this is a nice option to have on hand.

So, once or twice a year, I will do keto to keep my mind in check and help perpetuate healthier food choices. However, each time, my sugar addicted brain kicks in at some point and I want sweets. This dessert book is perfect! It has a lot of my staple favorites (cookies, cakes, tarts) but also has some that are new to me. I have only tried a couple of recipes but so far they have not disappointed. This is great for anyone on keto or someone just looking to make some different choices in their desserts.

There are some interesting recipes, but the problem, like a lot of cookbooks is there are a lot of weird ingredients you would need that might be hard and expensive to come by.
