Story was fine, Characters felt flat

Unfortunately, although the story itself was fine, I had a hard time feeling like the characters were actually behaving like they would in a given situation. A little too often the story would be coming along and then a character would act completely out-of-character and decide it is time to have sex (though all of that happened off-screen).

A Great Read With A Lot Of Action

Just finished the book and loved it. It's full of action, starting right off with a security breach. I love Axel, a Sergeant with attitude.
Granted there were a few typos here and there, but nothing major. Some may complain about it but, hey, what books don't have typos? I've read many that went through stricter editing process and there were still some. As long as it doesn't pull me out of the story then "All Right!"
I would highly recommend the book. Already started the second one in the series and loving it as well.

Futuristic action thriller!

I'm no reviewer, but this was a great story that hooked me from the opening. It has full-blown likable characters (except for the nasty lady villain, who’s just WOW) that drive heavy action and lots of intrigue. There's a fast-moving plot, lots of twists and turns as it romps along at a terrific pace. Set in a new imagining of our near future, it’s an engrossing adventure full of scientists, soldiers, cyborgs, clones, and space travel, with a realistic slant of modern technology. This futuristic adventure doesn't disappoint.
