Havig has talent

It takes talent to be able to write Christian fiction that is not preachy but is still inspiring and fun. There is some tough stuff in here,but it is handled beautifully and realistically, and with a touch of grace. And there is fun stuff that will make you smile and even laugh. Great book.

I've never read anything by this author before and happened to catch this novel for free. I still cannot believe how refreshing and realistic this story was! Chautona Havig's dialogue and character development were nothing short of masterful. Christian romances so often fall flat with me, either preachy to the exclusion of all else or the characters are so me-me-me I want to gag. But Hope and Jay just seemed real; funny, caring and mature despite (or maybe because of) their troubles. And can we possibly read more about them in a book about Kirky? Hint, hint, please? :)
