Description

"Behind all the noise and the numbers, we shouldn't forget that no one gets this big without amazing natural storytelling talent--which is what James Patterson has, in spades. The Alex Cross series proves it."-- Lee Child "It's no mystery why James Patterson is the world's most popular thriller writer: his uncanny skill in creating living, breathing characters we truly feel for and seamless, lightning-fast plots. I do this for a living, and he still manages to keep me guessing from the first to last page. Simply put: Nobody does it better."-- Jeffery Deaver "James Patterson is The Boss. End of."-- Ian Rankin James Patterson holds the Guinness World Record for the most #1 New York Times bestsellers. He is a tireless champion of the power of books and reading, exemplified by his new children's book imprint, JIMMY Patterson, whose mission is simple: We want every kid who finishes a JIMMY Book to say: "PLEASE GIVE ME ANOTHER BOOK." He has donated more than one million books to students and soldiers and has over 400 Teacher Education Scholarships at 24 colleges and universities. He has also donated millions to independent bookstores and school libraries. James will be investing his proceeds from the sales of JIMMY Patterson Books into pro-reading initiatives.

Same book as Private Delhi with a different title...

This is not against the seller, but this book is re-titled in the US as Count to 10, it was also published in the UK under the title Private Delhi...(confusing as hell) I made the mistake of purchasing both as they were listed in the reading order as if they were sequential. That's on me, but I just want to let everyone know so you don't end up in the same boat as I. AS FAR AS THE STORY GOES.....The book itself was fair to disappointing, not as good as some of the other Private books I've read, I almost put it down. Jack (main character) only makes brief appearances so in my opinion it's a good one to pass over. I think having that was PRIMARILY written by the 2nd writer and not Patterson, if you read alot of JP as I do, then you can definitely tell who's writing what parts of the story. I normally don't leave reviews but I felt as though I needed to in this case.
Cheers!

Read it 2 years Ago.....

I consider myself to be a JP fan. Have everything he's put out. But I was duped when I purchased this book, thinking it was a new story. Turns out its just a re-release of Private India released 2 years ago overseas.... Almost happened again with Instinct, aka Murder Games, aka Dr. Death... Why the name changes? Anyway, I digress... Good series. I'll keep reading.
