Different from previous editions

This is the first time a professor requests explicitly the new edition for a class and it actually makes sense.

Unlike any other textbook I have read

I highly recommend reading this, no matter what gender, race, culture, etc. It can be very eye opening, especially was for me, a white female.
Go into it with an open mind. Great read.
Rented this for a course in my Masters program and enjoyed learning from it.

Only buy if it’s required

The good: the print is nice and large and the colors used are very vibrant (bold titles, chapter titles). Good summary.
The bad: I don’t like the paper it was printed on, it smudges easily and don’t have anything remotely oily in your hands. Also, no chapter number at top of page so if you’re jumping chapters, you have to memorize the title you want (only thing on top right) or search for the main page of each chapter. Huge time-waster
