Cliffhanger alert!

Cliffhanger alert! It's a good thing I had the second book, Conviction, ready because the ending had me screaming. Not going to give anything away, but this was very well written with so many emotions. Will definitely be buying more from Corinne Michaels.

I absolutely loved this book, after suffering heartbreak Natalie finds unexpected love with Liam, her late husband's best friend. They have many ups & downs , but are in it for the long haul. This book has a twist at the end, but don't let that put you off. You definitely have to read Conviction the 2nd part of their love story. ( I purchased The Consolation Duet which contains both books )

I was given an ARC of Consolation in exchange for an honest review. First, let me say I am a huge fan of Corinne Michaels. I fell in love with her characters in the Belonging Duet (Beloved & Belonging) and did not think I could possibly love another one like I do Jackson Cole. Well...I'm here to tell you I was wrong. Liam Dempsey has become one of my favorite book boyfriends. Consolation made me feel every emotion- from laughing to crying to anger and back to crying. Natalie did not think she would ever love again after Aaron. Enter Liam Dempsey- he opened her eyes and her heart back up. Their love story was so beautifully written. Liam is Natalie's friend first and this friendship blossoms into an amazing story of two people who find love. The thing is neither one of them were looking for love. That's what makes it so special- their love just happened. Just when they start settling into a routine their worlds are rocked again. Will they survive? I can't wait for the conclusion of their story in Conviction- due in May 2015. Well done Corinne!!
