Unbiased review

Was a huge fan of the YouTube channel but I read books with an unbiased and low expectations no matter who wrote it. When I read it, it just made me appreciate my life so much afterwards, so much so that I cried in joyfullness. The book covers on how pretty much all famous inventors and some that aren't well known. This book showed that we are much more capable than what we think we are capable of.

Lots of knowledge to be had in this book

Took me 2.5 days to read this book and in those 2.5 days, i learned so much about the history of technology particularly computers, of which i knew nothing about. Even though there are a few typos in the book, i would not have considered giving this book anything less than 5 stars.

Great Book

I have been watching Cold Fusion videos on YouTube for years. Dagogo is a gem. This book is great. He presents a ton of technology and some of the stories behind. I also snagged the audio book as well, I just wish he would have the author would have read it aloud as his voice is pretty rad!

A chronology of tech's advancement

This book was a good read. It is implicit from reading it, that the rate of technologically change is increasing. And I defiantly learned somethings. Reading it made me feel excited about the future.

Selective and shallow

His manuscript needs more thorough fact checking. The book is a selective and cursory review of some of the 20th centuries more significant technological advances.

Good book, but almost too inclusive.

The reader for the audio-book version is very good. He sounds like he should narrate How It's Made.
The history of WW1 felt unnecessary, at least in such detail. Its relevance wasn't really apparent.
The history of Volkswagen is a little drab. So, the company got big. So what? What did that really change? And what does Hitler have to do with new thinking, especially as it applies to the advancement of technology? That wasn't really made apparent either.
I appreciate the inclusion of AR/VR and 3D printers. I believe they are the future. I've believed it for many years now.
As someone who studied theoretical physics for three years, I can say that the part about the quantum is wrong. I mean, what the author said is very mainstream, but I don't believe it's true or that it'll ever result in anything. Plus, Feynman is overrated. He'll fade into obscurity once it comes out that most of the mainstream interpretations of quantum mechanics are wrong.
Anyway, it was a good book. I enjoyed it, and it gave me something to talk about.
