A must for anyone that has anything to do in another individual's personal growth

There are so many lessons jam-packed into this story, that you might miss half of them the first time reading it. Since this is a fable with the lessons thrown in, you might read through them just thinking to yourself "oh that was good" and then forget about it. If you're unfamiliar with Martin Rooney, then you better grab a pen when you read this. Underline every part that pops out at you, write on the margin how it applies or could apply to you, and asterisk the lessons you really need to work on.
If you've been lucky to have a great parent, teacher, or coach, you'll realize why some of the things they did were so impactful. And it also opens your eyes to the other side of that coin.
This book could save you years of frustration and learning the hard way.

Universal People Skills

Coach to Coach is an uplifting, motivational book for me personally, for everyone in my family, and for all of my friends. The medium used is an experienced coach who helps a floundering coach. The author asks a great question, “Where do you want to go?” The answer is supplemented by questions and principles that are timeless. Each point is made memorable through the stories about universal people skills everyone can relate to, no matter what you do in life. This book is a classic, one that contains life lessons that are and will be applicable for forever. Coach to Coach is a must read!!

Everyone is a coach in their own right. THIS IS A MUST READ!

Everyone is a coach. You don't have to run a football team to use the life-changing principles Martin uncovers in Coach to Coach. This book is a must for anyone that is looking to help get the best out not only others they come in contact with, but most importantly, themselves.

As always with Martin's style; he takes the big, complex ideas, and breaks them down in a language and manner that is easy to understand and apply in real life scenarios.

I couldn't recommend this book enough. It's a must have and a must read. I personally purchased copies for my entire team.

Echoes of Martin's inspiring leadership style

I attended a Perform Better conference last month and got to witness firsthand why my fellow trainers love him. Rooney is ELECTRIC amd his enrgy is contagious!
Reading this book is exactly like listening to him in person. He tells stories to get his messages across. This book is an easy and highly engaging read. I loved it from first page to last and I went to sleep each night for a week after reading a few chapters at a time.
The story reads like a screenplay and the characters are wonderful examples of coaching gone wrong and right. My only complaint: I wish it was longer. Looking forward to High Ten!

I attended one of Martin's Perform Better Seminars and was instantly blown away, yet eager to absorb more knowledge and inspiring words. I instantly bought this while at the seminar and couldn't wait to dive in. I ended up taking my time, absorbing each story, and loved every second of it. So many great takeaways! 10/10!

You wont be disappointed

Very powerful storytelling! A read for all types of leadership and similar to Jon Gordon's style. I was only disappointed when I found there wasn't anything out by the author that was similar. It was all new material for me since I'm constantly reading and trying to soak up new stuff.
