Yuzu channels her inner Rosette Christopher

This is the final volume of Citrus and I am giving it 4.5 stars. The story is very good although I think the conclusion could have used a bit more work. Mei has left to prepare for her arranged marriage but Yuzu finally shares with her friends her feelings for Mei and they work together to bring Yuzu and Mei back together. It has the classic element of a quest story; each person has a talent that can advance the company. And then, there is that meeting between Yuzu and Mei. Yuzu announces she is not giving up and I recalled one of my favorite manga characters, Sister Rosette Christoper, from Chrono Crusade. Rosette was also someone who never gave up and that quality saved the world. Yuzu's situation isn't that overwhelming but it's a great scene. Looking back, Citrus excelled in touching scenes of the complexities of the human heart.

Not a perfect ending, but still a great series

citrus is my first-ever yuri manga, and for that, I will always love it. I'm definitely disappointed that Saburoauta began moving away from the series' roots as it went on, however, leaving us with entire volumes with not even a kiss sometimes and only a modicum of drama. Given that Citrus gained its popularity off of its spiciness, I would've expected that trend to continue, but sadly it began to taper off.

That said, this is still a good ending to the series. There's one REALLY major gripe I have with a glaringly absent scene we were all waiting for at the end, but I won't spoil it. Others have already complained elsewhere enough, and as Citrus+ continues to be serialized, all hope is not yet lost on that front.

In any case, if you're a Citrus fan, obviously you're going to buy Vol 10 anyway, and if you're not... what are you doing here? Go read Vol 1! Thank you Saburouta for this spicy yuri series and I hope you'll continue to write lots more yuri in the future :)

Will two hearts finally join together?

Some time has past since Mei left the family and Yuzu is trying to keep up a facade, but everyone notices the changes. But when two old friends show up, Yuzu finally breaks down. The two sisters give some advice which will put Yuzu and Mei on a collision course, but only if the rest of the group can come up with a plan to get the two together despite Mei trying to put some distance between them to protect the one she loves.

This was a good ending to this series, with a lot of emotion and a few more twists that will take you for a ride. The final pages are of course a beautiful color scene, but i wont spoil it for you. Now i have been reading the citrus plus online, which tells the story of the girls journey between the final chapter and the final scene so keep supporting this and enjoy.

I finished all the mangas and the first 2 of citrus + and absolutely love it. I wish they could continue the TV edition. Since they can't continue the TV edition im so happy shes still keeping the manga going. Thank you!!!

Missing the Epilogue

A great end to the series, but unlike Citrus 1-9, Seven Seas didn't include the volume extras for this book. That means they cut out the epilogue AND the rest of the final event at the end of the book. How could you do that to the readers?

Truly a delightful read! Best yuri yet!

What a wonderful ending! I enjoyed this series so much! I'm sad to see it end. I really liked the storyline and all the characters! How Yuzu never gives up and Mei finally caved into her own feelings. I'll definitely keep a eye out for this author. The art is beautiful and the writing is great! Loved it!
