Sarah Johnson is a freelance writer and longtime lover of the written word. Her love of the classics began early, with Jane Austen becoming a clear favorite by her early teen years. When the world of fan fiction was introduced to her, she was happy to find so many wonderful stories based on the dearly loved characters. It was a few years before a new writers challenge, posted at one of the Jane Austen Fan Fiction forums, drew her to put pen to paper and begin creating the stories that have always unfolded in her mind. What began as a picture has become a muse that will not stop forming ideas for more stories. After fifteen years of military life, she and her husband, along with their six children, have now settled in Texas, where she continues to write of an era gone by and of characters that will forever live in the hearts of Jane Austen's admirers.
